Yeongjong Sky City
The main purpose of Yeongjong Sky City is to build a self-sufficient complex
international city where it is possible to support airport and port facilities, living
accommodations, and more. Also, the city seeks to develop MICE industry through self-sufficient
functions and connection& development with surrounding facilities from a medium-and long-term
plan of complex resorts where a higher value aircraft logistics connected with ICN and industrial
land are constructed.

Yeongjong Aviation Cluster
It is in development to build a special industry base for space and aircraft including
an air training center and MRO Industry based on firm IT skills and ICN, the hub airport of
Northeast Asia. The global engine manufacturer, UTC of America, and KAL collaborated to build an
aircraft engine maintenance center and world’s largest aircraft manufacturer boeing (USA) is
constructing the largest operations training center in Asia.
