On April 28, 2022 (Thursday), IFEZ signed a business agreement with start-up childcare institutions in Incheon Metropolitan City for the sustainable growth of startups. The signing ceremony includes Incheon Techno Park, Incheon Branch of the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, Incheon Creative Economy Innovation Center, Korea Environmental Industry Technology Institute, Incheon University (Startup Support Group), Inha University (Startup Support Group), and future services. Under this agreement, startups will grow and support by establishing a cooperative system to support sustainable growth of promising startups in △ Incheon, supporting programs to foster promising startups, △ linking Incheon Startup Park programs for sustainable growth of young startups.

On April 27, 2022 (Wednesday), IFEZ held a briefing session on the establishment of a comprehensive plan for the first phase of smart city-based service and the launch of implementation design services. This service is scheduled to run until September 2022, and basic design and first-stage design services will be promoted to establish and operate systems related to the implementation of the "2030 IFEZ Smart City Strategy."

On Thursday, April 21, 2022, IFEZ signed a business agreement with POSCO International and Incheon Tecono Park to discover and foster global innovative startups. The main contents of this agreement are co-discovering and fostering innovative startups that want to enter △ Global, establishing a cooperative system to support △ Start-ups' global expansion, and supporting sustainable growth by linking △ Global expansion capabilities and cooperative programs.

On April 20, 2022, IFEZ signed a business agreement with Yonsei University to attract quantum computing centers and create an ecosystem. Quantum Computing is a technology that is actively used in bio and new drug development because it uses logical calculation methods based on the principles of quantum mechanics to solve problems that could not be calculated in existing supercomputers. The main contents of this agreement are the establishment of a quantum computing center and the creation of an ecosystem within the international campus of △ Yonsei University, revitalization of industry and research in the quantum field by establishing partnerships with △-related institutions, and joint efforts to win tasks related to △ quantum computers.

From April 13th (Wednesday) to 14th (Thursday), 2022, IFEZ visited major facilities in the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) and conducted on-site inspections. Sung Yong-won, deputy director of IFEZ, visited a total of eight places, including Yeongjong International City Sky Culture Center, Unseo Station transfer public parking lot, Songdo International City Triball, Gyeongwonjae Ambassador Incheon Hotel, Songdo Convensia, and Blue Ocean Club, to check the safety and management of facilities.

On Wednesday, April 6, 2022, IFEZ signed a business agreement with the Overseas Construction Association for overseas business development and public-private cooperation. The agreement was signed to establish a business cooperation system to substantially support benchmarking and mutual cooperation requests from overseas organizations on the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) urban development model. △ Local policies, systems, and information sharing to develop and support overseas urban development projects △ Supporting domestic companies to enter overseas construction markets △ Exchange employees and sharing work know-how to strengthen mutual capabilities among institutions.

IFEZ held the IFEZ Innovative Growth Platform on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. Following IFEZ's introduction of logistics, distribution, and investment attraction policies, Song Sang-hwa, a professor at the Northeast Asian Logistics Graduate School at Incheon National University, presented the theme of 2022 Logistics and Supply Chain Crisis: Global Trends and Implications, and suggested management.

On Wednesday, April 6, 2022, IFEZ will produce a video containing information that can help foreigners living in IFEZ. A total of six content creators were selected, including applicants interested in producing or promoting videos (incheon Global Campus International Students, amateur YouTubers, etc.) for video production. The video will be made with various life information such as IFEZ neighborhood news, IFEZ hot spots, and restaurant tours that can help in daily life. In addition, it will also be decorated to find and introduce attractions of Songdo International City, Yeongjong International City, and Cheongna International City.

On April 4, 2022 (Monday), IFEZ held a meeting to revitalize Yeongjong Sky City. The development of the third-stage reserve in Yeongjong International City Sky City has been delayed for the past 15 years. Related organizations such as Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), Incheon Urban Corporation (iH), Incheon International Airport Corporation, and Incheon Metropolitan City participated in the meeting. According to the results of the project strategy establishment service, LH announced the layout of the space divided into industrial facility site, urban support facility site, self-sufficient complex, and maintenance site, Incheon International Airport announced the development of smart logistics cluster.

On April 1, 2022 (Friday), IFEZ completed the construction of an automatic collection facility for household waste in Songdo International City District 8. The automatic collection facility for household waste has been completed with KRW 5.2 billion since 2018, and residents' convenience facilities, including children's play facilities, will be installed above the completed 13.6-kilometer-long transportation pipeline.
