On September 12, 2025, the IFEZ successfully completed the final connection of the last deck segment on the cable-stayed bridge section of the 3rd Land Bridge. Stretching 4.681 km with six lanes across 30 meters in width, this major marine bridge links Jung-gu Jungsa-dong and Seo-gu Cheongna-dong. With a total investment of 780 billion KRW, the bridge features the tallest steel towers in Korea at 184.2 meters and includes pedestrian and bicycle paths for enhanced public convenience. The new bridge is expected to significantly improve accessibility between the Incheon Free Economic Zone and Seoul, reducing travel time from Yeouido to Incheon International Airport to approximately 30 minutes.
