■ 녹색기후기금(GCF) 사무국 유치에 우리 모두 나설 때입니다. ■

연간 약 3,800억원 이상의 경제적 파급효과가 있는 것으로 분석되는 녹색기후기금(GCF) 사무국의 대한민국 인천 유치는, 저탄소 녹색성장 선도국가로서의 국가 인지도를 제고할 뿐만 아니라 인천경제자유구역의 투자 유치 활성화에도 크게 기여할 것입니다. 우리나라도 범 정부차원의 유치 추진단을 구성하여 유치에 최선을 다하고 있습니다. 하지만, 무엇보다 중요한 것은 평창 동계올림픽을 유치했을 때처럼 국민 한 사람 한 사람의 염원과 성원이 함께 해야 한다는 점입니다.

■ It is high time that we all launch to host GCF(Green Climate Fund). ■

Six countries (Germany, Switzerland, Mexico, Poland, Namibia and Korea) are currently competing to host GCF and Germany devotes all their energy through exceptional financial supporting at the state level to invite GCF.

We will be honoured to continue in our efforts to share our vision for a low-carbon climate-resilient future by hosting the GCF and we are committed to supporting the GCF in its mission
