Seoul Snow Festival Kicks Off Dec 18

The Seoul Snow Festival will take place at Peace Square in the War Memorial of Korea in Yongsan-gu, Seoul from December 18, 2013 to February 9, 2014.

Making its debut this year, the festival will offer a variety of fun outdoor activities on a daily basis including sleigh rides, snowball fights, and an igloo village. Every Friday, Wednesday, Saturday, and on Christmas Day, from Christmas Day through New Year’s Day, and Lunar New Year’s Day, special events will be held for festival goers. One event that is drawing attention is the snowball fight to be held every Wednesday, featuring famous athletes and celebrities.

Admission includes an all-day pass and costs 15,000 won for adults and 12,000 won for kids.
