It was engaging for everyone. It was inclusive of all ages. It was interactive beyond any inhibitions. Above all, it was exciting and entertaining, which was a must to be called a party!

Yes. That was the Year-end party organised by the IFEZ before most people dispersed for their long-awaited winter break.

There was a relaxing environment at the year-end celebrations yet it was a meaningful event. There was felicitation of those who completed their Korean language classes at the hands of the top authorities of the IFEZ. There were rewards for teachers. Volunteers were acknowledged and applauded for their hard work to promote the IFEZ. Many other prominent figures of the city enjoyed the celebrations with everyone. For those, who did not fall in any of the above categories, there was an easy IFEZ quiz, which had answers hidden in a video played just before it. Each answer fetched an attractive gift to keep the spirit of competition and excitement quotient up.

Food and drinks, which make the most remembered part of any good party, had a scrumptious spread with a Christmas theme. The seasonal fruits, the mains and the dessert satiated the physical hunger after all the guests were emotionally satisfied with all the merriment.

While enjoying food, people tapped their feet to the live performance of the famous song 'O Sole Mio' which was such a welcome element to complete the party to the 'T'.

If that was not all, there were prizes for the top three best dressed guests in Christmas colours. 'Yours truly' was one of the winners!

I was rest assured that I am off to a happy ending to my 2025 and a positive start to my New year 2026. Bravo IFEZ!
