No. 1
Songdo Long Beach Park
Songdo Long Beach Park 194 Landmark-ro, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon
True to its name, Songdo Long Beach features a scenic coastal walkway that stretches along the seashore. In daylight, it is perfect for walks or rides against the shimmering blue waves, and at dusk, the park is filled with the glow of the sunset. At the moment when the West Sea’s waves meet the sunset, the day in Songdo International City closes with its most beautiful colors. The sky changes in shades of pink and gold, shifting by the moment, as the silhouette of Incheon Bridge slowly fades into darkness. Just one glance at the scenery shows why this spot is renowned for its sunsets. Long Beach Park remains captivating at night even after the sunset has fully faded. The lights of Incheon Bridge sparkle across the sea in the distance, and the ripples reflect light that sways like the moon. At seaside cafes, people can be seen enjoying a cup of tea, letting their eyes rest over the gentle waves. Throughout the park, benches, rest areas, rocking chairs, and trampolines are provided, making it a comfortable place for families with children.

No. 2
Noeul Park
Noeul Park 291 Robot Land-ro, Seo-gu, Incheon
Famous as a sunset landmark of Cheongna International City, Noeul Park is a place where the crimson glow of dusk mingles with children’s laughter, offering moments of rest and relaxation. Along the gently sloping hill, the park features a variety of facilities including a skate plaza, a traditional octagonal pavilion, an observatory, and a playground—making it a welcoming space for visitors of all ages to unwind and enjoy leisure time. The lively energy of young skateboarders, the serene faces of people gazing at the sky from the pavilion, and the cheerful voices of children blend together into a heartwarming scene that shines even brighter as the sunset deepens. As the sun descends, the sky slowly turns red, living up to the park’s name. From the pavilion or the observatory, the city unfolds at a glance, with buildings and the lake glimmering in the amber light of dusk. On the breezy hilltop, the sunset paints the perfect ending to the city’s day. As the sunset unfolds like a gentle melody, the park slowly fills with people’s footsteps. Every moment—walking, pausing, and gazing—lingers vividly in memory, for the sunset here is always a breathtaking sight.

No. 3
Geojampo Pier
Geojampo Pier 11 Jamjindo-gil, Jung-gu, Incheon
Geojampo, located on the western tip of Yeongjong Island between Eulwang-ri and Wangsang Beach, has long been admired for its peaceful and modest atmosphere. Here stands Geojampo Pier, a famous spot for both sunrise and sunset. Interestingly, the pier opens toward the east, so visitors can enjoy both the sunrise and the sunset over the water, even on the West Sea. On winter mornings, people gather in small groups, braving the fierce breeze to catch sight of the small uninhabited island of Maedorang just offshore. With its shark-fin shape, the island is also nicknamed “Shark Island.” When the sun rises behind Maedorang, the silhouette of the island against the crimson sky creates a breathtaking view. In winter, especially at the end of the year, the pier is crowded by people bringing their cameras to capture the scene. The blue pre-dawn light and the harbor slowly touched by red hues create an impressive scene that symbolizes sunrise in Incheon. When the afternoon fades and evening draws near, Geojampo transforms once more. Depending on the sun’s trajectory, influenced by the sea’s direction and the seasons, visitors can also enjoy the sunset beyond the horizon on clear days. Beneath the red-stained sky, the gentle sound of waves fills the air as the sunset light stretches along the breakwater. Sitting in silence and gazing at the sea, a tranquil stillness comes over you, as if time has slowed down.
