On Thursday, February 17, 2011, IFEZ signed an agreement with the Polar Research Institute to build the Songdo International City Hall. The Polar Research Institute, which will be built on a 35,887㎡ scale on the R&D site in the 5 and 7 District of Songdo International City, will be built in the first and second stages of construction, including the main government building, the polar support building, dormitories, special research facilities, and the Polar Promotion Center with the aim of completing it in 2015.
