On Tuesday, March 5, 2019, Huneed Technologies, Inc., an aerospace defense company, opened the AM (Additive Manufacturing) * Technology Innovation Center together with Germany's EOS, a leading 3D printing company. The AM Technology Innovation Center will introduce EOS's latest metal 3D printer to produce specialized 3D parts for 3D printing. * AM (Additive Manufacturing) refers to 3D printing, a term commonly used in industry, as opposed to traditional mechanical machining (Subtractive Manufacturing). 3D printing refers to outputting stereoscopic graphics rather than printing characters or pictures in a plane with a printer.
