On Wednesday, July 10, 2019, the sixth commissioner of the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority took office. Mr.Lee said, "The Incheon Free Economic Zone has achieved remarkable growth through the establishment of world-class settlement environment, living infrastructure and global education environment. Now it is time to grow as a global business, a center of high-tech industry and a strategic base for national development. "We will strive to make a more precise and more realistic approach by reviewing the macro strategies for achieving these goals." In particular, we will focus on bio and health, 5G and AI, tourism, leisure and convention, I will nurture the Incheon Free Economic Zone as a hub city in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution by investing in and attracting enterprises, establishing a collaborative ecosystem for industry-academia-research collaboration and establishing a foundation for cultivating human resources related to it. In addition, we will finish the ongoing projects such as the construction of Cheongna International Business Complex, the construction of Cheongna City Tower and the construction of the 3rd bridge bridge. Finally, "As the interest of citizens and the demand for policies are attracted to various investment promotion and urban development projects, we will work hard to listen to citizen's opinions and reflect on the policy through citizen communication process.“
