On Wednesday, October 23, 2019, ORDEG completed the construction of a hydrogen fuel cell low-catalyst manufacturing facility in a high-tech industrial cluster in Songdo International City. ORDEG is a Belgian national company that develops and studies global advanced materials. The hydrogen fuel cell electrode catalyst manufacturing facility, which opened in Songdo International City, was built on a 10,287.2㎡ site including a factory with 2,104.6㎡ of building area and 4,243.0㎡ of total area. Odeck Co., Ltd. has developed and produced hydrogen fuel cell electrode catalyst for the first time in Korea. In line with the market expansion of the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle *, an eco-friendly car, Korea's first manufacturing facility was built in Songdo International City to specialize in producing hydrogen fuel cell electrode catalysts. * It is an eco-friendly vehicle that does not generate any pollution due to no emission gas. It has the advantages of short charging time (less than 5 minutes) and long driving distance (over 500km). It is expected to lead the automotive industry.
