On June 29, 2020 (Monday), IFEZ signed a "mutual cooperation agreement to discover and foster start-ups" with Incheon Techno Park and Chungwoon University in Songdo International City's Gyeongwonjae Ambassador Hotel Incheon. With the signing of the agreement, Incheon Metropolitan City will cooperate in fostering startups in Incheon and creating jobs in the region, including employment, by linking the Incheon Startup Park creation project, which is being promoted with the Ministry of SMEs and Venture Business, with the National Labor Scholarship Employment-linked university project, which Chungwoon University is working with the Ministry of Education. Major contents of the agreement include supporting startups through linkage of state-run projects such as national work, scholarship, employment, and university projects, establishing a support system for start-ups and promoting global specialized clusters.
