On July 14, 2020 (Tuesday), Incheon Metropolitan City Mayor Park Nam-chun held a meeting with Yonsei University President Suh Seung-hwan regarding the early construction of Songdo Severance Hospital and the promotion of the second phase of the Yonsei International Campus, the completion of the ESL-Bizen Industrial-Academic Cooperation Center, and the attraction of the state-run project. Incheon Mayor Park Nam-chun confirmed his firm commitment to the construction of Songdo Severance Hospital from President Seo Seung-hwan, asked the hospital to be completed within the agreement period based on mutual trust and cooperation, and suggested strengthening cooperation in the bio sector with Severance Hospital and Yonsei University in the future.
