On August 19, 2020 (Wednesday), Lee Won-jae visited Saint-Gobang Korea, a bio and high-tech company that moved into the IFEZ Songdo International City. Saint-Gobang Korea is the world's 200th largest company by Fortune magazine in the U.S. and is a 100 percent subsidiary of Saint-Gobang in France, which was founded in 1665 and has developed and produced ceramic materials and high-performance plastic technology products for 350 years. Saint-Gobang invested a total of 22 billion won in the project and completed a two-story, one-story bio-process product manufacturing facility at 218-5 Songdo-dong in January and is currently in operation. Saengobang, built in Songdo International City, is built as a manufacturing facility based on the company's smart factory technology and will gradually expand to various smart factory technologies, including the deployment and operation of "co-operative robots."
