On September 22, 2020 (Tuesday), IFEZ signed an agreement with Thermo Ffischer Scientific Korea, the Korean subsidiary of Thermo Fischer, to foster bio-medicine research and process in Songdo International City. The Bioprocess Design Center (BDC), which will be built this time, will have about 100 equipment that can be used from basic research to production of bio-medicine in animal cell and microbial culture rooms, cell culture badges and buffers preparation rooms, and refining and analysis laboratories that reproduce biopharmaceutical production processes.
