On October 14, 2020 (Wednesday), IFEZ held a meeting on the construction of the third bridge with representatives from 15 construction companies in Incheon attending. At the meeting, the IFEZ explained how the project was carried out, the details of the original design, the method of bidding for the design technology proposal, and the future schedule, and sought cooperation from local companies to prevent them from bidding for the construction project. He also listened to the difficulties of local construction companies. The third bridge (Jungsan-dong, Jung-gu, and Cheongna-dong, Seo-gu) will be 4.67 kilometers long and 29 meters wide and will be constructed as six round-trip lanes, sidewalks and bicycle paths, and a contract is being requested to the Public Procurement Service last month for the first three construction sites to create a second section and a supply and demand section of Cheongna.
