On October 26, 2020 (Monday), the Incheon Metropolitan Government finalized the "3rd Landing Bridge Construction Project Agreement," which mainly focuses on sharing the cost of each institution's project for the 3rd Landing Bridge project. Under the agreement, LH (Korea Land Corporation) and Incheon Metropolitan City Corporation will pay 95.3 percent, or 619.5 billion won, out of 650 billion won of the total project cost for the third bridge. The third bridge will be built with a total extension of 4.7km (3.5km of sea bridge, 1.1km of land and land) and a six-lane road and a sidewalk and bicycle road with a width of 29m, connecting Jungsan-dong (time point) and Cheongna-dong (end point) in Seo-gu, Incheon. The construction of the third bridge is expected to greatly contribute to improving the settlement conditions of Yeongjong International City and the balanced development (development promotion) of the western part of the Seoul metropolitan area, the development of Yeongjong Sky City and the promotion of investment attraction, and the securing of the regularity of Incheon International Airport.
