On November 17, 2020, Le Hobot Business Inc., a company specializing in bio-specialized shared facilities, opened the Songdo Bio Convergence Center on the 24th floor of IBS Tower in Songdo International City. Songdo Bio-Convergence Center, which is 1,620㎡, has set up a bio-testing laboratory that shares bio-healthcare research facilities and equipment such as sterilizers and sterile laboratories, and plans to provide competitive services as bio-healthcare-specialized sharing facilities in the future. Networks with major global bio incubation centers, hospitals, and venture capital (VC) will also be established, and global pharmaceutical companies will be supported with the ability to link investments in foreign VCs and license out of domestic technology (licensing out) to other companies.
