On February 25, 2021 (Thursday), IFEZ hosted the opening ceremony of Incheon Startup Park. Incheon Startup Park is the largest startup support space in Korea for a single business that fosters technology-based and bio-convergence innovation companies such as artificial intelligence. It is South Korea's No. 1 startup park selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' public offering project to create an open innovation start-up base such as Silicon Valley in the U.S. and Zhongguan Village in China. It is the first model in Korea to foster startups by combining private experiences, capabilities, and public resources. The complex, "Tomorrow City," located near the Incheon National University Station in Songdo International City, has been remodeled. The interior is equipped with office space and convenience facilities, specialized corporate support facilities such as big data, artificial intelligence (AI) center, IoT (Intelligent Internet of Things) demonstration support lab, open station, and central plaza.
