On Wednesday, April 28, 2021, IFEZ held a series of events at Songdo International City G Tower and Cheongna International City 3rd Continental Bridge to sign a win-win agreement to revitalize the local construction industry. Even if large construction companies that participate in bidding lack performance, local companies with excellent technical skills such as new technologies and patent methods will be able to increase the effectiveness of local subcontracting rates. The third continental bridge, scheduled to be completed in 2025, will be built with six round-trip lanes, 4.67km long and 29m wide, along with sidewalks and bicycle lanes. In order to keep its promise with citizens to complete and open in 2025, the Civil Engineering Corporation is pushing for the first time by applying a bidding method for implementation design technology proposals.
