On June 9, 2021 (Wednesday), IFEZ held the "2021 IFEZ Korean Speaking Contest" for foreigners living in Incheon Metropolitan City. This speech competition was the first to be hosted by IFEZ, and was held to provide a place for foreigners living in Incheon to sympathize with the excellence of Korean language and culture and show off their Korean skills. Thirty-six foreigners from 19 countries participated, and 12 who passed the preliminary round in May advanced to the finals. The finalists chose between "IFEZ I experienced, Incheon I experienced" and "free topic" and announced for five minutes each.
