On June 23, 2021, IFEZ visited the site of the unopened underground road of Haechannarae, Yeongjong Sky City in Yeongjong Sky City. Since the opening of Haneuldaero, which penetrates Yeongjong Sky City in 2014, no point-in-time (3rd Interchange Bridge~ Haechan Narae Underground Road, L=2km) has been opened for seven years. Until now, due to the increase in the number of residents living in Haneul City, Haechannarae Underground Road has increased traffic volume during commuting, and residents have requested to resolve traffic congestion by penetrating the unopened section. Lee Won-jae, head of IFEZ, said, "We need to solve the residents' needs through active administrative treatment," and successfully discussed between related agencies to open a 480-meter-long, 8m-wide, second-lane road and resolve traffic inconveniences.
