On Wednesday, November 24, 2021, Costa Rica's Foreign Ministry signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Georgia Mason University and Utah University Asia Campus to expand educational opportunities. With the signing of this agreement, the two universities will cooperate in internship opportunities at the Costa Rican Embassy and establishing scholarship programs for Costa Rican students.
