On May 16 (Thursday) and 22 (Wednesday), 2024, IFEZ conducted joint on-site inspections with the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency for seven sites under construction. The joint on-site inspection was attended by field managers, management departments, and experts from the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency to prevent disasters and accidents. On-site accident prevention education, preparation for storm and flood damage in summer due to climate change, response to natural disasters, and inspection of rest facilities for on-site workers were conducted. On May 16 (Thursday), Byun Joo-young, deputy director of IFEZ, inspected the construction site of the third bridge connecting Yeongjong International City and Cheongna International City, and on the 22nd (Wednesday), Yoon Won-seok, director of IFEZ, inspected the infrastructure construction site of section 11 of Songdo International City.
