On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority held a completion ceremony for YMT Co., Ltd.’s Songdo R&D Center at the Advanced Industrial Cluster (B) in Songdo International City. Completed in just over two years since construction began in June 2023, the center occupies a 9,924.4㎡ site with one basement and six above-ground floors, serving as a research hub for future strategic industries such as semiconductors, displays, and bio-metal materials. YMT, a leading PCB specialty chemical materials company, holds the world’s first electroless ultra-thin copper foil technology and core glass substrate technologies, and has entered the Japan-dominated market through the localization of ultra-thin copper foil.
