On October 27, 2022 (Thursday), the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZ) hosted the 2022 Global Business Frontier Forum to explore strategies for advancing the bio and healthcare industry of the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) as a hub for open innovation from a global perspective. The forum opened with a keynote address titled “Open Innovation Strategy in the Bio-Healthcare Industry and Innovative City” delivered by Susan Chase, Vice President of Business at BioLabs, a leading U.S.-based bio innovation organization in Boston. This was followed by presentations and discussions in Session 1 and Session 2, which focused respectively on “Directions for Promoting Open Innovation in the Bio-Healthcare Industry” and “Achievements and Future Directions of IFEZ’s Innovation Ecosystem Development Initiatives.”
