19th Anniversary Ceremony of the Establishment of the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority

On October 14, 2022 (Friday), the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZ) held a ceremony to commemorate the 19th anniversary of its establishment. Since its launch in 2003, IFEZ has experienced remarkable growth over the past 19 years, with its population increasing from approximately 25,000 to 410,000 and the number of tenant companies rising from 294 to around 3,300. In addition, IFEZ has attracted USD 14.1 billion in foreign direct investment, accounting for approximately 70 percent of the total FDI attracted by free economic zones across Korea, thereby establishing itself as a role model for investment attraction and enhancing its status as a global city.
