On October 5, 2022 (Wednesday), the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZ) signed a land sale agreement with Sartorius Korea Operations, a German-affiliated company. Under the agreement, Sartorius plans to construct a research facility for the manufacturing and process development of key raw materials for biopharmaceuticals on an industrial site within the Advanced Industrial Cluster (B) of Songdo International City (211-1 Songdo-dong, covering an area of 24,434 square meters).
