On March 31, 2026 (Tuesday), IFEZ signed a “K-Bio Lab Hub Pilot Project Agreement” with the Incheon Center for Creative Economy & Innovation at the SL Baijen Industry–Academic Cooperation Center of Yonsei University International Campus. Through this agreement, the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority and the Incheon Center for Creative Economy & Innovation agreed to strengthen cooperation in fostering bio startup incubation and building a startup ecosystem. The pilot facility, covering 1,072㎡ within the Yonsei University International Campus, has been established to support startups, with eight drug-development startups currently in residence. In 2026, the program will support 50 membership companies by providing early-stage commercialization support and operating open innovation networking programs in collaboration with anchor companies in Songdo International City.
