On Tuesday, June 2, 2026, Macrogen held the completion ceremony for the Macrogen Songdo Global Genome Center in Songdo International City. Macrogen is a leading provider of genetic and genomic analysis services, ranking first in Korea and fifth globally in genome analysis capabilities based on next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology. Through the completion of the center, the company officially launched a global precision medicine hub that integrates genome big data production, AI-powered interpretation, and clinical analysis. The center has a total floor area of 18,500 square meters and is equipped with automated and standardized facilities capable of conducting genome and transcriptome analysis, as well as next-generation multi-omics analysis, including single-cell and spatial transcriptomics. Leveraging artificial intelligence and automation technologies, Macrogen plans to expand global genome big data projects and promote the broader adoption of precision medicine.
