On Thursday, May 31, 2012, IFEZ signed a memorandum of understanding with CKC Company Limited and ProEvents for the establishment and operation of the Korea Chelsea Football School. The Korea Chelsea Football School is to be built on a 22,522㎡ site at 11-24, Songdo-dong, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, within the Knowledge and Information Industry Complex of Songdo International City, and will include one international-standard football field and a four-story gymnasium. The facility is also planned to include a futsal court, basketball court, taekwondo training hall, rehabilitation center, English academy, and English football kindergarten, and will operate English-based education and elite player development programs. ProEvents is a company that has overseen Chelsea Football Club’s business operations in Asia.
