On Thursday, June 7, 2012, IFEZ signed a joint design agreement with Incheon Catholic University. The agreement was intended to enhance the urban landscape of the Incheon Free Economic Zone and strengthen competitiveness in public design. Under the agreement, the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority and Incheon Catholic University will establish an industry-academia cooperation framework in the fields of urban design, public design, and environmental design, and will jointly carry out related research and projects. Incheon Catholic University is a higher education institution engaged in education and research in the fields of design, art, and culture.
