On Tuesday, August 7, 2012, IFEZ signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Bookook Securities for the creation of the Incheon Investment Fund. The agreement was intended to establish a financial cooperation framework to promote development projects in the Incheon Free Economic Zone, attract investment in strategic industries, and accelerate the launch of the Incheon Investment Fund. Under the agreement, the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority and Bookook Securities plan to cooperate in the formation and operation of the fund, the identification of promising investment projects, and the attraction of domestic and international investors.
