On Saturday, September 22, 2012, IFEZ held a flash mob performance at Central Park in Songdo International City in support of attracting the secretariat of the Green Climate Fund (GCF). The event was organized during the “I-Market (Sharing Love, One-Heart Festival and Flea Market),” held from September 21 to 23, to gather public support for the GCF bid and to help build momentum for the successful hosting of the 2014 Incheon Asian Games. Various programs were also operated on site, including promotional exhibitions by eco-friendly universities and related institutions, a flea market featuring traditional goods from multicultural families, and celebratory performances.
