On Thursday, September 27, 2012, DM Bio held the groundbreaking ceremony for its biopharmaceutical manufacturing plant in Songdo International City. DM Bio was established as a joint venture project through cooperation between Dong-A Socio Holdings and Japan’s Meiji Seika Pharma, with the goal of creating a global-level biopharmaceutical production base. The plant was planned on a site of approximately 33,000 square meters, with a total floor area of 21,577 square meters, and was designed to consist of three buildings, including a three-story main production building. The facility was to be built as an antibody biopharmaceutical manufacturing plant equipped with three 2,500-liter production lines. DM Bio is a company engaged in the production of biopharmaceuticals and the pursuit of global market expansion.
