On Thursday, October 11, 2012, IFEZ held a meeting to expand the participation of local companies in public and private investment projects. The meeting was organized to broaden opportunities for local construction companies and related businesses to take part in various development projects within the Incheon Free Economic Zone, while strengthening the foundation for regional economic revitalization and mutually beneficial cooperation. The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority discussed ways to increase contract opportunities for local firms, give priority to local materials, workforce, and equipment, and improve relevant systems and cooperative measures.
