On Saturday, October 13, 2012, IFEZ held a walking event in support of bringing the Green Climate Fund (GCF) to Incheon. The event was organized to broaden public support for hosting the GCF Secretariat in Songdo International City and to build momentum for attracting international organizations. The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority highlighted Songdo International City’s infrastructure as a global city and its eco-friendly urban image, while sharing that attracting the Green Climate Fund would help strengthen its status as a hub for international organizations and contribute to regional development.
