On Monday, December 31, 2012, IFEZ held an on-site briefing on the construction of Muui Bridge in Yeongjong International City. The briefing was organized to present the progress of the bridge construction project, which was intended to ease transportation inconveniences for Muui-do residents and visitors and improve accessibility. Muui Bridge was planned as a marine bridge connecting Jamjin-do and Muui-do in Yeongjong International City, serving as key infrastructure to improve living conditions in the island area and support tourism development. IFEZ explained that the opening of the bridge would contribute to balanced regional development and greater convenience for local residents.
