On Monday, July 1, 2013, Kolon Global held a welcoming ceremony in Songdo International City to mark the relocation of its headquarters. In July 2013, Kolon Global and Kolon Water & Energy moved their headquarters and offices to Songdo International City, bringing approximately 1,000 employees to work in the International Business District. The move served as an opportunity to strengthen the business functions of Songdo International City, where global companies and international organizations are concentrated, and to help revitalize the local economy.
