On Tuesday, August 20, 2013, IFEZ held a briefing session for the tender to select developers for the Yongyu·Muuido area, covering culture, tourism, leisure, general industry, and research and development facilities. The session was held to expand private-sector participation and share the project direction based on the area’s strong marine tourism resources and locational advantages in Yeongjong-gu. The Yongyu·Muuido development project aims to create an international marine tourism complex focused on tourism and leisure, and related projects such as accommodations, leisure and cultural facilities, and infrastructure expansion will be promoted in phases.
