On December 12, 2013 (Thursday), the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority signed a business agreement with Hyundai Motor Company to promote cultural events in Songdo International City. The agreement was made to expand citizen-participatory cultural events through corporate sponsorship and to enhance the city’s brand value. The two sides announced plans to cooperate in operating cultural programs in Songdo International City, including performances, exhibitions, and hands-on events, and to broaden the foundation for cultural content that could be enjoyed by local residents and visitors alike. Hyundai Motor Company is a leading Korean automobile manufacturer.
