On December 19, 2013 (Thursday), Michuhol Library of Incheon Metropolitan City opened the Songdo International Organization Library on the second floor of the cultural wing of G-Tower. The opening was intended to strengthen specialized information services related to the United Nations and international organizations and to expand support for international organizations and foreign users based in Songdo International City. The library was an expanded and relocated facility of the former United Nations depository library, and it began operation with a floor area of 516.35 square meters, housing more than 5,000 domestic and international books, including materials related to the United Nations and international organizations, as well as general-interest and professional magazines.
