On Monday, March 31, 2014, the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority signed a memorandum of understanding with the Incheon Investment Fund to promote investment attraction and strengthen cooperation in development projects. The agreement was pursued to secure stable financing for major projects in the Incheon Free Economic Zone and to expand domestic and international investment networks. The two sides planned to cooperate in identifying target projects, attracting investment, and sharing project information to support development in Songdo International City, Yeongjong International City, and Cheongna International City in phases.
