On Sunday, July 13, 2025, the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority signed a memorandum of understanding at G-Tower with the United Kingdom’s globally renowned wetland conservation organization, Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT), to strengthen international expertise and mutual cooperation for the Songdo International Eco Center development project. The agreement was 추진됐다 to protect diverse habitats in Songdo International City and surrounding areas and to enhance biodiversity conservation capacity. The two organizations plan to cooperate in a wide range of areas, including international collaboration, academic exchange, education and public relations, and activities to raise global civic awareness. Following the signing ceremony, a special lecture was delivered by Tina Redshaw, International Cooperation Manager at Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust and former British Ambassador to Cambodia and Timor-Leste. Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust is a leading wetland conservation charity in the United Kingdom that operates wetland reserves, including the London Wetland Centre, and is recognized for its expertise in wetland restoration, environmental education, and international cooperation.
