On Friday, May 30, 2014, DM Bio completed a new cGMP plant dedicated to biopharmaceutical production in Songdo International City. The newly completed plant was built on a site of approximately 33,000㎡ with a total floor area of 21,577㎡, consisting of three buildings including a three-story production building, and is equipped with three 2,500-liter production lines capable of producing a total of 7,500 liters of antibody biopharmaceuticals. DM Bio is a joint venture established by Dong-A Socio Holdings and Japan’s Meiji Seika Pharma, and planned to expand from the Korean and Japanese markets into Europe and the United States.
