On Monday, June 23, 2014, IFEZ signed a memorandum of understanding with the Korea Urban Design Institute for the rational promotion of landscape policy and the establishment of a cooperative framework in the landscape field. The agreement was pursued to enhance the expertise and public value of urban landscape policy and to improve the quality of international urban landscapes through systematic advisory support and academic cooperation. The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority and the Korea Urban Design Institute strengthened cooperation in a wide range of areas, including landscape planning, landscape review, urban design, policy consultation, and academic exchange, and planned to promote follow-up cooperation projects to create a high-quality urban environment in Songdo International City, Yeongjong International City, and Cheongna International City.
