On Thursday, June 26, 2014, IFEZ, together with Nam Incheon Broadcasting, released loaches at Haedodi Park in Songdo International City for eco-friendly mosquito control. The event was organized to naturally reduce mosquito larvae in the park’s waterside areas while minimizing the use of chemical agents and creating a more pleasant leisure environment. Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority, in cooperation with Nam Incheon Broadcasting, promoted the need for environmentally friendly pest control and planned to continue eco-conscious mosquito reduction activities so that citizens could use the park more comfortably and safely.
