On Tuesday, August 26, 2014, Hobbit Land at Incheon Songdo International Campground opened. Located in Solchan Park in Songdo International City, the facility is a coastal campground offering views of the West Sea and Incheon Bridge. Built on a site of 38,000 square meters, it includes A and B camping zones, a group camping area, a caravan zone, cooking facilities, shower rooms, and children’s play facilities. Hobbit Land was created as a multi-purpose camping space where families could enjoy leisure and relaxation close to the city, and it was expected to serve as a community-friendly leisure facility that would enhance the marine tourism and recreation functions of Songdo International City.
