On Saturday, October 11, 2014, IFEZ held the Incheon Musical Fireworks Festival at the Songdo Waterfront site in Songdo International City. The festival was organized to commemorate the 50th Incheon Citizens’ Day, celebrate the successful hosting of the 2014 Incheon Asian Games, and wish for the success of the upcoming Asian Para Games Incheon 2014. Approximately 500,000 spectators gathered at the venue and across Songdo International City, where jazz dance, Korean traditional dance, and electric violin performances were followed by fireworks choreographed to music, lighting up the autumn night sky. Through this festival, IFEZ widely promoted the nighttime scenery and cultural tourism appeal of Songdo International City.
