On Thursday, November 20, 2014, Paradise SegaSammy held a groundbreaking ceremony for Paradise City in the International Business Complex area of Incheon International Airport in Yeongjong International City. Paradise City is Korea’s first global integrated resort project, with a first-phase investment of KRW 1.3 trillion (approximately USD 1.18 billion) on a 203,041㎡ site. The development includes a deluxe hotel with 711 rooms, a foreigners-only casino, a convention facility of 24,266㎡, K-Plaza, an indoor theme park, a luxury spa of 21,739㎡, and a boutique hotel with 103 rooms. Paradise SegaSammy planned to proceed with phased construction with the goal of opening in the first half of 2017.
